I’ve been fascinated with polymer clay artist dolls and fairies for years and never thought that I would be making them! I have a long way to go, but I’m getting better thanks to the support of other artists and the resources they’ve made available. The dolls I created in my early work had no faces, and for some reason always had ginormous breasts no matter what my intention was. A friend jokingly named them “boobdahs” because he said they looked like female Buddhas!

 

When I learned what Squidoo was and was inspired to write my first lens, I chose to write on  creating polymer clay artist dolls.  My intention was to share my learning experience and the resources I’m finding along the way that have helped me improve so much:

The Fairy Society Social Network and Marketplace was my choice for my second lens. My intention is to repay the creator of the network, Sherri Forrester-Baldy, creator of the new FuzzB, and all of the artists who had been so kind and supportive to me.  One can spend hours on the site just looking at thousands of photos of polymer clay dolls, jewelry and more as well as paintings and a variety of fantasy art in many mediums.

Creating Polymer Clay Artist Dolls
